FAMILY NIGHT AT THE CHILDREN'S HEALTH CARE OF ATLANTA AT SCOTTISH RITE HOSPITAL

What a wonderful event we had sharing the story of Nicky and his powerful friends the White Blood Cells (affectionately called the Weitzel-Mankins).
After watching Nicky’s Movie and listening to the Weitzel-Mankins songs, I handed out a sketch of a Weitzel-Mankin and shared some fun drawing techniques with the children. The room filled with the music of laughter and talking as each child colored their picture and compared their masterpieces with one another. Much to the delight of the children, the Max Brown Family Library had organized a picture taking with the artist.

As the event came to an end, we presented each child with a signed copy of the book as a reminder of the evening. Check here for a look at the pictures of the event.
